Current Definition and Classification of Pathologic Myopia

Pathologic myopia is one of the leading causes of vision loss. Although there is comprehensive literature on pathologic myopia, there is confusion regarding its definition and classification. In this paper, the difference in definition between pathologic myopia and degenerative myopia, and the definition and classification of structural complications caused by pathologic myopia in the eye have been tried to be discussed in the light of current literature.
